I am delighted to report that our Members Summit, held from 26th to 29th November at the Tamarind Tree Hotel in Nairobi, provided an ideal setting for such strategic discussions. This summit was a melting pot of ideas and insights, featuring a CEO’s Forum, donor-grantee dialogues, and our Annual General Meeting. Here, we dug deep into intricate discussions on ecosystem realignment, systems change, and recalibrating power structures within the philanthropic sector. The certified masterclass offered during the summit was particularly noteworthy. It was designed to empower our members with cutting-edge knowledge and skills, ensuring they are well equipped to navigate the complexities of modern-day philanthropy. Exciting news awaits as we approach the year’s end—our new Board of Directors will be unveiled soon, promising fresh perspectives for the challenges and opportunities ahead.
