In partnership with the Philanthropy Forum of Uganda, EAPN is hosting a forum dubbed ‘‘Lessons from Community Foundations: Spurring Local Generosity” on 27th October 2022 at the Protea Skyz Hotel Kampala from 8.00 am- 1.00 pm.

The forum aims to support local organizations in strengthening their ecosystems for growth in their communities toward self-dependence and socio-economic development. The meeting will also champion more collaborative philanthropy practices and tap into emerging ways to accelerate local resource mobilization.

The meeting will also allow participants to tap into the power of the #GivingTuesday movement. The movement uses the power of generosity to create new and creative ways for people to engage with causes, inspiring new approaches to storytelling and enabling a culture of collaboration and innovation across the social sector.
