In the face of constrained fiscal space, deepening regional disparities, and the growing complexity of societal needs, the need to reconfigure our development approach into one that is collaborative, adaptive, and grounded in national realities is not optional—it is a prerequisite for meaningful progress.
In recognition of this moment, the Philanthropy Forum of Uganda, in partnership with the East Africa Philanthropy Network and Development Dynamics, will convene a National Multi-Stakeholder Partnerships Dialogue, themed “Towards a Multi-Stakeholder Partnership Framework – A People-Powered Public-Private-Philanthropy Pathway.” This convening will interrogate the prevailing realities shaping Uganda’s development ecosystem and chart a new path anchored in ecosystem trust, innovative financing, community agency, and shared accountability.
The dialogue will convene senior leadership from government, civil society, philanthropy, the private sector, and multilateral actors for a grounded yet forward-facing conversation on the structural levers needed to accelerate inclusive national development. It will serve as a platform to surface insights, assess existing coordination mechanisms, and co-create a national framework that enables more coherent, equitable, and resilient partnerships.
The conversation will take place on Thursday, 10th April 2025, from 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM at the Protea Hotel Skyz Hotel in Kampala. We would be honored to have your voice and leadership in the room as we shape a collaborative blueprint worthy of the aspirations outlined in Vision 2040 and the broader development agenda.
