EAPN Members

Strengthen member’s local resource mobilization capacity through generating and sharing (new) knowledge, solutions and models on local giving/ philanthropy, resourcing and grant making.
Broker strategic partnerships or linkages with government/ policymakers and private sector to jointly improve the philanthropy environment (incentivize giving)
Offer a platform for linking and sharing (learning, ideas, thoughts, innovation) as well as solidarity amongst members. Also offer platforms, safe spaces & forums for discussing strategic issues.
Marketing, visibility and profiling amongst others through EAPN events, IEC materials, and media (website, social sites). Forum to show case their track record and value addition.

CSO Sector

Knowledge generation and institutionaldevelopment on local giving/ philanthropy, at subsidized costs – a thought leader on innovative models and solutions for local giving and grant making
Platform for linking/ networking with various sector players, as well as knowledge generation, learning and sharing of best practices on philanthropy.
An opportunity to amplify their visibility and collective voice/ bargainas a basis forinfluencing the operational context as well as for self-regulation.
Support improvements in modes, mechanisms and systems for resource mobilization.
Support the enhancement of positive image, goodwill and reputation for the CSO sector.

Private Sector

A wide network of members/ other contacts that private sector corporations and/or foundations can use to implement their corporate social investment programs.
Platforms for marketing, visibility and profiling (e.g. EAPN events, IEC materials, social media etc.)
Sharing of ideas on how to more meaningfully contribute to social development, and get credit for the same - triple bottom-line, impact investing, social enterprises, tax advisory and incentives.
Platform for building synergies and cohesion among development actors (government, CSOs, private sector) for greater coordination, complementarism and system orientation.
Provide a platform for influencing policy, as well as opportunities to leverage resources towards specific causes/programmes in order to accelerate and scale impact.
